Volunteers allow us to provide more services, better programs and a more pleasant learning environment for our students. We have been fortunate to have parents who are willing to help out during the school year.  If you wish to volunteer in school or as a chaperone on a field trip, please fill out a volunteer application/background check form and return it to the school office.  A new background check is required to be filled out every school year.

We hope you consider participating in whatever degree possible in our Parent Teacher Organization. The PTO provides support for Washington teachers, staff and students, as well as their families in order to make their educational experience at Washington Elementary the best it can be. They raise funds to help supply classrooms, provide free family activities and to allow parents to participate in the Washington Elementary community. The PTO also funds things like study labs, student cadet advisers and provides financial assistance for field trips and other student activities.  Monthly meetings will be held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.
